Report 2023
Notes of Affection
Life is full of infinite possibilities and multiple paths. Life is everything that happens outside and also everything that happens inside (under the surface) and, like fungi’s mycelium, it is made up of an infinite network of connections and interdependencies.
In 2023, FCAM turned twenty, and in the twelve months leading up to our anniversary, we carried out actions and activities that centered the recognition of our existence and, above all, our purpose, the engine that drives us day by day against all odds: the sustainability of feminist and women’s movements.
These movements bravely demonstrate how their struggles bear fruit in dizzying and highly complex Central American contexts and environments, and it is here that our presence is felt the most so we can continue providing them with support and opportunities for strengthening. FCAM accompanies and works with the movements in our shared, unwavering pursuit of fairer societies, where all girls, women, trans and non-binary people enjoy dignified and full lives in communities that center life.
We invite you to explore this space, to connect with the voices, colors, people, and organizations that made possible all that we achieved in 2023.
